Research and Development

One of the main priorities of Canaletas has always been the development and release of new products, being one of the most innovative companies of the sector. Relying on its own Research and Development department specializing in drinking fountains, water coolers and dispensers.

In the sector, Canaletas was the first company to replace the refrigerant gas R-12 for the R134a, before the corresponding European Directive came into force.

Also Canaletas was the first to launch on the market a water cooler with Peltier technology, non contaminant and that didn’t require the use of gas or compressors.

Since its foundation, Canaletas has developed and launched many different new products and more recently, the model minicool, made to install under the sink and being one of the smallest water coolers on the market as well as the electronic water cooler with the option of sparkling water for more demanding users. Another novelty is that recently a large number of models incorporate a cooling system through a stainless steel coil that is known for the best performance and at the same time giving the best hygiene, by rotating the water more times.

For its great advantages, the sanitation system, specially developed for Canaletas water coolers, really stands out. This system is based on the CANVAP method that uses steam as a disinfectant and is characterized by its low cost, safety and speed, given that within 8 minutes the water cooler is left completely sanitized.
